Knysna Yacht Club
The Knysna Yacht Club is internationally renowned for its hospitality and facilities and visiting yachts are always welcome.
Established In 1910, the Knysna Yacht club has steadily grown over the years and now boasts one of that larger Yacht Club memberships in South Africa. The club’s sailing and canoeing activities as well as other water sports, coupled with it’s association to Sanparks, the Sea Cadets and NSRI are testament to its importance in the community as an essential link between the town of Knysna and the waters of the lagoon.
The clubhouse and other facilities of the club boast arguably one of the most beautiful locations in the Knysna area, surrounded by, and floating above the waters of the Knysna lagoon and overlooking it’s Yacht basin.
Offering a restaurant, two bars, a function venue, play area and ablution facilities make the club a sought-after venue for social gatherings and sporting events alike. The club provides haul-out facilities for vessels of up to 12 tonnes with skilled servicing by SAS/SAMSA qualified personnel.
